Transparency Regarding the Use of Artificial Intelligence

At APAERZ, modern digital tools and applications based on artificial intelligence (AI) are used as supporting tools in the development and design of content.

AI-assisted applications may be used in particular for the creation, editing and optimisation of images, product presentations, graphic content and text. This includes, for example, the visual design of product and brand scenes, as well as the development and linguistic optimisation of content for this website.

Human Selection and Control

At APAERZ, AI is used as a supporting tool and does not replace human responsibility for published content.

AI-assisted results are used and selected by people. Published content is reviewed, selected and, where necessary, edited or adjusted. Particular care is taken to ensure that product features, materials, functions and other essential characteristics are not misleadingly altered through artificial representation.

Product images and staged presentations may therefore in some cases be created or edited digitally or with the support of AI. They are used for visual presentation and brand communication. The relevant product descriptions and the information provided with the product remain authoritative for the actual characteristics of a product.

Transparency for AI-Generated Content

APAERZ takes into account the applicable legal requirements regarding the labelling and transparency of AI-generated or AI-manipulated content.

Where an explicit label is required under the applicable legal provisions, such labelling will be provided in an appropriate and clearly recognisable form. This applies in particular to content where the use of AI could create the impression of an actual or authentic representation.

The transparency requirements for AI-generated content arise in particular from Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (EU Artificial Intelligence Act / AI Act).

No AI Interaction with Customers

This website currently does not provide a standalone AI-powered chat or advisory function through which visitors can interact directly with an AI system.

If such a function is offered in the future, the relevant communication will be clearly identified as AI-assisted and designed in accordance with the legal requirements applicable at that time.

We see AI as a tool for creativity, design and efficient workflows. For APAERZ, careful selection, human oversight and the most authentic and transparent possible presentation of our products and brand remain decisive.
